行政学や公共政策学や国際関係学などの分野は、専門性が高いと同時に学際性を伴うことが多いので、卒業後のCareer Plan 、特に、3年〜5年の短期プランを明確にしておかないとプログラムを選択するのが困難な場合があります。実際に幾つかプログラムを見てみましょう。なお、プログラムのデータベースはNASPAAとAPSIAにあります。

提出するStatementには、学歴（大学での専攻）、活動歴（課外及び社外活動）、職歴（業務内容など）、選択したプログラムと専門分野、プログラム終了後のキャリアプランなど過去・現在・将来を貫くconsistencyを明記する必要があります。カウンセラー と一緒に相談しながら見つけましょう。なお、Ph.D.レベルのプログラムではありませんが、ある程度の研究計画も考える必要がありますし、 なぜそのスクールのそのプログラムが第一志望校なのかの理由を複数考える必要もあります。カウンセラーに相談ください。
